Join Us
All current Napier University students are welcome to join NUAC. Most of our new members are complete beginners and we provide equipment and also tuition.
Archers with previous experience are also very welcome. You can join the Club at any time of the year and you don’t need to attend every session. However for best results, we recommend that you start early on in the academic year and attend as many practice sessions as you can.

You don’t need to do this if you signed up at the Freshers Fair in September 2011.
Where and When?
Don’t worry, if you weren’t able to make it to the first session! See the Calendar and choose any other session that suits you!
Our outdoor home venue is the Graduation Field round the side of Craiglockhart Campus, between the building and Colinton Road – NOT the sports centre. LRT buses 4, 10, 27 and 45.
Our indoor home venue is the North Merchiston Club. There are plenty of bus services available within short walking distance that go to most part of Edinburgh. Indoor training will start by the end of September, likely Week 3 of Semester 1.
Indoor Training Times:
- Friday 8 – 10 pm
- Sunday 4 – 7 pm

How much?
Membership fees for the whole year starting from September are as follows
- Napier Student: £30
- Napier Alumni: £35
- Other: £40
To become a member with us, you also need to be a member of the Sports Union. The cost is £15. That provides all members with insurance, affiliation with archery governing bodies, discounts at certain pubs and clubs and allows you to represent the University at competitions. We can take care of your affiliation to the Sports Union or you can join through other clubs or directly at the NSA.
The cards are currently being sold from 11.30am to 1.30pm and 3.00pm to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday, at the NSA.
If you choose to by your card directly from the NSA or through another club, please let us know your card number.
